Churchfield was commissioned by 3 Interiors to deliver the full painting and decorating works for Flight Club, a new upscale darts bar located on Dawson Street, Dublin. The project involved interior painting, wallpapering, plaster and moulding repairs, and applying intricate decorative finishes. The client required a high-quality finish that would reflect the venue’s premium branding and immersive hospitality experience.

The building was in a poor state of repair, with many original features and mouldings damaged by water. Delivering a premium finish in such conditions was further complicated by the fast-paced timeline—from November 2024 to January 2025—and the need to coordinate around other active trades. Access to key working areas up to six metres high was limited, and the site’s city-centre location made logistics and deliveries more difficult.

Churchfield took a structured and collaborative approach, holding weekly coordination meetings with the site team to plan work efficiently. Specialist mobile towers were used for high-level access, and materials, including imported wallpapers from Scotland, were secured in advance. Repairs to plasterwork and mouldings were completed before carefully painting intricate bar canopy details in gold. To support the client's operations, Churchfield scheduled shift work in the final week, completing work by 2pm each day so staff training could proceed uninterrupted.

Despite the challenges, the project was delivered on time and within budget. The space was transformed into a visually striking, high-end venue that met the client’s vision in full. The finish quality exceeded expectations, with particular praise given to the wallpapering and restored mouldings at roof level. The client was delighted with both the final result and the professionalism of the service, setting a strong foundation for the bar’s successful launch.
