Churchfield was appointed by Structuretone to deliver all wall finishes for a three-floor, 32,000 sq ft office fit-out at Aon’s headquarters on 15 George’s Quay, Dublin 2. The scope included interior painting, wallpapering, and specialist limewash finishes, with the aim of creating a bright, modern workspace of the highest quality. The project commenced in June 2024 and was successfully completed in October 2024.

The fit-out was carried out on a shell-and-core space, providing a blank canvas but also requiring extensive coordination across all trades. The work coincided with the summer holiday period, so additional resources and planning were essential to maintain momentum. Access logistics also presented challenges: a hoist system had to be pre-booked for materials, and deliveries needed careful scheduling due to the central city location.

Churchfield implemented structured weekly routines to ensure progress and alignment across teams. This included toolbox talks with staff every Monday morning and collaborative whiteboard planning meetings with other contractors and site management. Limewash finishes from Bauwerk were applied to open-plan areas, with Vescom Zaralin wallpaper installed on external office walls between timber panelling. Ceilings in internal office areas were painted black to align with the design scheme, and all wall surfaces were meticulously prepped with filling and sanding prior to finishing.

The project was completed to an exceptionally high standard, on time and within budget. The quality of the finishes—particularly the Bauwerk limewash and fabric wallpapering—drew praise from the client, who expressed high satisfaction with the result. The transformed environment now offers a sleek and contemporary workspace, and Churchfield's smooth collaboration with other trades ensured a seamless execution. The result has likely contributed to increased employee satisfaction across the office.
